About prasiolite
A pale green semi precious gemstone also known as green amythst. It's created naturally and synthetically by heat treating amythyst. The word prasiolite means scallion green stone. Prasiolite is generally named "The Prosperity Stone" as it's believed to attract wealth and fortune.
Like all quartz prasiolite is piezoelectric. Mechanical pressure can produce an electrical potential, which is one of the reasons quartz is used in watches, electronics and sensors.
