Labradorite freeform
This Labradorite freeform has a strong cyan flash that's brilliant. The lower portion gives off a golden flash resembling a sunset. The flash features vertical striations that catch the incredibly well.
The stunning flash of color you see isn't actually the surface of the stone. It's an optical illusion created deep within the crystal structure as light bounces between layers of different minerals. This light effect is called labradorecsence.
It's a stone of protection, and is used to guard against negative energy and to promote healing. It's thought to enhance access to the akashic record, and helps in chakra balancing.
Scientist have discovered labradorite in certain types of meteorites. The mineral has also been detected in the dust clouds around distant stars.
