Blue Flower Agate

This piece has dramatic landscape patterns swirling between dark ribbons and a white agate background. It mimics a mountain range or deep cave formation. It also has distinct orbicular eye formation along the left side .  

Blue Flower Agate is a rare gemstone with blue and grey tones and opaque chalcedony inclusions that resemble tiny blooming flowers. This beautiful gem was discovered in Madagascar in 2018.  

The mesmerizing white blossoms frozen inside this stone are not fossils, it's a phenomenon known as plum inclusions.  As liquid hot silica gel slowly cooled, trace mineral impurities branched outward in three dimensional radial bursts.  The translucent, oceanic chalcedony base then solidified around them, permanently locking an atomic level growth spurt into solid rock.  

Blue Flower Agate is thought to soothe emotional trauma, reduce stress, and promote sleep acting like a deep breath for heavy energy.
