About Blue Flower Agate
The raw base stone is mined in Madagascar where it was discovered around 2018. It features translucent to milky blue backgrounds with white or cream colored floral chalcedony "blooms".
Often mined by hand, Madagascar flower agate is recovered through small scale artisanal miners with miners using simple tools to extract pieces from volcanic rock.
Linked primarily to the throat chakra it symbolizes growth and blooming into ones true self. It's believed to reduce stress, clear self doubt and encourage peaceful communication.
