This sphere has a pearly luster that subtly reflects the light with tiny glittery, flecks under the surface. The rich purple lilac has a deep monochromatic palette.
Lepidolite was discovered by a German chemist Martin Heinrich in the Czech Republic in 1792. It forms deep underground inside massive granite pockets. High quality pink and purple Lepiodite are mined from Brazil, Madagascar, the US and Canada.
The existence of Lepidolite is like a rare snapshot of a volcanoes last breath. It can only form at the end of a volcanoes life cycle. Lithium atoms are geochemically stubborn. They refuse to fit into a standard mineral structure as magma cools. Because of this lithium gets pushed out and concentrated into boiling subterranean fluid. It precipitates only when that liquid hits a specific cooling threshold.
Lepidolite is thought to be an emotional anchor and relieve stress as well as clearing negative thought loops. Some healers believe it can restore sleep and boost lucid dreaming.
