Where Wire Becomes Wonder
Every tree begins as a coil of wire and a vision. My name is Chryseis Larkin, and I am the artist and maker behind Invisible Designs — a one-woman studio where copper and aluminum wire are transformed, strand by strand, into living sculptures that carry the energy of the earth.
The Story Behind the Studio
I have always been drawn to the quiet magic of natural things — the way a tree's roots mirror its branches, the way a crystal catches light and holds it. When I discovered wire sculpting, it felt like finding a language I had always known but never spoken. What started as a personal creative practice grew into something I couldn't keep to myself. Today, Invisible Designs has connected with over a thousand kindred spirits through our community, and each piece I create carries that spirit of connection forward.
The Craft
Each wire tree is entirely handcrafted — no molds, no machines, no shortcuts. I work with premium copper wire and aluminum wire, hand-twisting dozens to hundreds of individual strands to form roots, trunks, and branches that feel organic and alive. The process is meditative and intentional: every twist, every bend, every decision about where a branch reaches is made by hand and by feel.
Once the tree's structure is complete, I select natural stones and crystals to adorn it — choosing each one for its color, texture, and energy. You'll find amethyst for calm and clarity, lapis lazuli for wisdom and truth, aventurine for growth and abundance, and many other treasures from the earth woven into the canopy and roots of each piece. No two stones are identical, which means no two trees ever are either.
The Intention
I believe the objects we surround ourselves with matter. A handcrafted wire tree isn't just décor — it's a reminder of resilience, of growth, of the beauty that emerges when patience meets creativity. Whether you're drawn to a piece for its crystals, its artistry, or simply because it spoke to you, I hope it brings something meaningful into your space.
Thank you for being here. Thank you for supporting handmade art. And thank you for letting a little piece of Invisible Designs find its way into your world.
